My friend Kerri Thompson makes these great cards almost weekly and sends them out to her friends and posts them on a blog that is called Sword Sharpeners. They are really fun and really great for reminders of God's word. I wanted to share this with those who read my blog. If you want to know more, email me or comment on the blog. I haven't had any events this week that are blog worthy, ha ha, but once the weekend hits with the big game and family here, there will be.
My sister in law has started this game with her friends. It's just a way to visit your friends blogs after you have told strange/interesting things about yourself on your blog. I guess it's called "Tag". The rules are to state 7 "strange" things about yourself others don't know. Then you "tag" 6 people you know with blogs at the end of your "Tag". Then you leave them a comment on their blog to show you've been to their page to make sure they are playing :) So, I will play and tag!
#1. I have OCD with a few things in my life. I will share one with you that isn't too painful to share :) I clean inside and out of my car once a week. Every week. My family was big on clean cars. Before any trip and after returning, we had a clean car. I found that once I owned my own cars, I wanted to keep that up. It's a little crazy but I have really seen great results from keeping a clean car. I traded in my Camry 2 yrs. ago and got the greatest amount on a Camry you could get for a trade in. It was awesome! So....there.
#2. I have a hard time sleeping at night. My mind races once the lights go out. In order to keep myself from going crazy or without sleep, I write everything down on a planner. I look at it over and over during the day and every thought and regular activity that goes on, goes down on it. Sometime Casey gets worried because it's so full.
#3. I have an addiction with buying a large drink of some kind, daily, at Sonic or McDonald's. It's a way to get out of the house every day and take a drive. I am trying to break that habit now because McDonald's no longer has the $1 drink, lg. like it did in the summer. That Stinks!!!!
#4. I have issues with plastic cups, not like drive-thru cups but plastic. My grandpa never let my grandmother have plastic cups in the house. He believed that if you used plastic, you could never get it clean enough to get rid of germs. Due to his issue, I now have an issue. We only have solo cups to throw away after use or glass. No plastic!!
#5. Since I have had children, nothing embarrasses me. I will do anything or say what needs to be said without regret. I have always been shy especially when it came to speaking. No longer!
#6. I love candles but for some strange reason, I don't want to use them. I had a garage sale this summer and got all of my candles in the sale because they were making my hubby mad. We've moved them every time and I still hadn't used them. This move was the last, said he. I had to go out and buy two new ones last week because the kitchen sink needed a little refreshing and so did our bedroom. So, I got rid of them, being unused and then had to go buy new ones. Real Dumb!
#7. Halloween is my favorite holiday! I love all the others but pumpkins, fall colors and all the excitement children get from costumes and candy, is so awesome. Don't get me wrong, christmas is THE BEST but it is so overwhelming with all the decor., gifts, and food that I am always ready for it to be over. Halloween is short, sweet and for 2 to 2 1/2 months, you can rework the decor. to keep it festive. Now, one thing about this holiday, it can not be scary. No witches, bats or goblins. Ghosts are out too!

Well, that was fun. Took me too long to do but now, I pass this on to my friends. Thanks Kerri for the great email cards you send. They keep me lifted and make me appreciate you even more for sending and making them every week.
Tag Your It: Michelle Perry, Kerri T., DeltonForce, Jennifer E.,.......???? I'll get back to this list!
